"At the beginning was the sea. Or more precisely: seamen arriving at the Gulf of Gdańsk in the second half of the 20th century and bringing music records with them. A window on the world was also a window on music. Change was coming from the sea. And it still does today. The following compilation paints a subjective and diverse picture of the Tricity music scene. The music composed here is bold, out of the ordinary, embracing the experiment. Even if it relies on guitar-based or “traditional” instrumentation, the artists manage to extend musical horizons in an intriguing way. "
