Notes

Pina has been a key figure in Barcelona’s electronic underground since the late 90s (Sloan, anyone?). His passion for musical experimentation has not only remained intact over time, it has also led him to work on his sound to a level of purification and thoroughness that has established its own distinct, recognizable style at first listening.

A sound that materialized in the successful “Onda Corta” [Lapsus, 2011] and “Hum” [Lapsus, 2013]; two works that are part of this “Lapsus Trilogy” which is now complete with “Transit” [Lapsus, 2015].

Slow and solid rhythms midway between the laboratory and the dance floor which combine Pina’s usual muscular and distorted rhythms with soaring melodies and bubbling acid passages. Undoubtedly, the most brilliant and personal work of our local hero Pedro Pina.
