For the second release on Malente‘s new No Brainer Records imprint we bring you Slap In The Bass, a fresh production duo from Hungary. Working together for not even a year, Kristof Csekenyi and Gergely Divald have already released tracks on labels like Wearhouse and Top Billin.

Their debut on No Brainer is the “Padrino / Xhosa EP” and it starts off with “Padrino”, meaning “the godfather”. But this godfather is a balkan version of a rather drunken Al Pacino. More Al Bundy than Al Gore, a true No Brainer.

Luckily Hickup (Dirtybird) give it back some brains by delivering a deep bass driven remix for the sober people and those with a proper education.

“Xhosa” is the name of an African tongue based on click sounds. The track accordingly feeds extensively on these clicks pairing them with elements of Dutch House in order to win a Grammy. No wait, it was to lay waste to dancefloors all over the universe.

LOL Boys (Palms Out) speak a different language on their remix. A language called love. And it‘s beautiful. You gotta listen in order to understand.
