Korean Vinyl Pressing of original US CD on Walt Disney Records. Also released on Mercury (UK) (The Lion King (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack).

There is an unconveniency in the catalogs used on this record. While on the releases licensed through Narada have the correct catalogue matrix, on some of the Disney releases, the catalogue of the CD master 60858-2 was used even on the vinyl transformation. This is because some of these Korean editions were never originally issued on LP from the original label. At least it is almost impossible to tell if there was an original. By example the LP "Homeland" by Tingstad/Rumbel was pressed in the USA on vinyl, but it is, as the other Korean vinyl pressings, even more an extreme rarity in the original form. As long as the existence of the original LP is not proven, it is recommended to list an item (as long as it is licensed from one record company to a foreign one) under both and use two different Categorys.
The grainy artwork on some LPs suggests the presumption that the masters of the CD artwork was used for it, hence the term "transformation".
