Notes
“There are memories that strongly attached to specific places.Like the house you lived in, a cafe you spent every morning, a club you've met your ex-lover(s), and etc. How do we feel when the place is suddenly disappeared?
It's not only a loss of the place, it's loss of sense and memories.
In Japan, we periodically knock down all the buildings, even historical architects,to withstand huge earthquakes. Where does all our memories go that attached to the places?
What if there is a theater where all the lost memories flow in.
Like the replicants in Blade Runner who eager to get their own memories (back?), the people who are obsessed with lost memories gather there and get fake experience of the memories.
What kind of music can be played there? Not exactly the kind of music from the past, but it can be the kind of music to awaken lost memories. I thought of this for long time, and I feel it is right time to realize this theater, since so many things and memories are lost in Japan with the Tsunami."
