The White Meadows return with their second wonderful recording for Reverb Worship.The duo of Maria Thompson and Peter Taylor recorded this album earlier this year.Here both display inventiveness and exceptional musical dexterity to create "The Silk Line".This is a eight track album which effortlessly merges multifacetted ambient textures, gamelan, folk and traditional instrumentation (harp / alto recorder / whistle / and accordion) into something rather delicate and very beautiful.One of my contenders for album of the year.This cd comes in a hand numbered edition of 50 copies.The covers were designed by the duo and printed on recycled paper
