Sur Les Pas De Baal Chem Tov (1700-1760)

The Jewish man, so often uprooted, seeks his roots. One of them was planted in the 16th century in Poland, in a "chtetel." Israël Baal Shem Tov, shy guardian of the synagogue, once exclaimed: "Dancing is joy." Of all his words which have overturned the weighty tradition of his time, I shall remember that which was inherited by my grandparents. This disc is dedicated to them. - Serge Franklin
