Notes
According to Wille Smyth's 1984 "Country Music Recorded Prior to 1943: A Discography of LP Reissues" (JEMF Special Series No. 14), this compilation was produced in several hundred copies but never officially released, due to threatened legal action by Columbia Records against the Minnesota Folk Song Society over their previous compilation LP of the Skillet Lickers. The release date of 1962 given here is the year in which the litigation was threatened. The LP was not titled and no artwork was developed for the jacket.
