According to the artist's website, this album was recorded following the release of his second album No Need For Alarm, but never commercially released. Upon leaving the Elektra label and beginning work on the Hieroglyphics' 1998 album 3rd Eye Vision, a cassette version of this album was both released and sold exclusively through the Hiero Imperium label's website in 1998. Thus, even though this version is the first vinyl pressing of the album, it is also a reissue of the cassette.

There is also an unofficial vinyl version.
