When you talk about Bay Area music you have to mention DJ Pizo. He is as legendary as the groups he has DJ'd and produced.Tony, Toni, Ton'e / Too Short / Spice 1, and E-40. Songs such as "Feels Good" (Tony, Toni, Ton'e), "Short But Funky" (Too Short), "187 Proof" (Spice 1). Pizo has been a DJ for E-40 for a long time.
Pizo was raised in the Bay Area town of Hayward, California. Que Martyn, his grandfather and successful jazz musician, has influenced Pizo's mixes and attributed to his diverse musical sound and abilities.
Beyond his talent as a DJ, Pizo also writes, produces and raps as displayed in his albums Rollin a Drop, released in 1996 and Built For This, released in 2003.
