One of the last true legends in comedy, Jey Jey Star is the stage name and alternate persona of Jeff Dandurand --often described as a triple threat for his versatility as an comedian, actor and musician. By fifteen, Dandurand had already appeared in major movie and television shows as a child actor.
"Jey Jey Star" was originally intended to be a rock star but was considered too ambitious and over the top for the musical climate of that time. Jey Jey had to channel his rock star dreams into a career as radio personality, stand up comedian and performance artist. After his first show at a popular L.A. Comedy Club he was a headline act within a week. Star has opened for the best including Dave Chappelle, Lady Gaga, Dave Attell, Katt Williams, Dane Cook, Carlos Mencia and others. In 2012 he released what U.K. Press described as the "greatest comedy album in 30 years." A misunderstood genius who has been criminally overlooked by mainstream media and hated by fellow comedians, Star's ability to capture an audience can only best be described as legendary.
