The Seven Dutchmen Orchestra is a group of young musicians who thoroughly enjoy entertaining their fans. And entertain is exactly what this band has been doing for the past 5 years.
The Seven Dutchmen Orchestra was organized in May of 1975. The original members had all played together in high school polka and stage bands. As the began to graduate, these musicians decided they wanted to keep on playing, thus the group was formed.
Singe the beginning, the Seven Dutchmen Orchestra has performed extensively in the New Braunfels area, as well as throughout the state of Texas and Louisiana.
Although, since 1975, some of the faces have changed, the great music put out by this band has not. This album was recorded to celebrate some of the highlights of the first 5 years.
