In her own music box, talented composer Ho Chen-Chen, who first gained popularity in the ethnic Chinese world with the sweet music of Three Cat Cookies, has engaged in a conversation through piano with Le Petit Prince (The Little Prince). “I’m very happy to have another opportunity to use the creative concept of ‘using music to tell a story, using sound to create a character’ and use music to interpret the famous French work Le Petit Prince. This time my little musical universe, aside from the tireless sounds of the piano, has produced a broader, more extensive range of styles than Three Cat Cookies in terms of both composition and arrangement. Not only have I used a large-scale string section in the arrangement, but also Irish flute, which is rarely heard in Taiwan.
