Notes

Subtitle: Méthode d'identification acoustique des chauves-souris de France / A sound guide of the French Bats

This double CD brings you the ultrasounds of the sonars of 27 european bats reproduced in audible frequencies. In the first CD, sounds were reproduced at their actual speed, and in the second they are slowered ten times (time expansion). The text is written in a rather pedagogic way and all the acoustical variations are studied. Further than scientific aspect, you will discover a surprising and wonderful ultrasonic world, that the author widened as he included insects ultrasounds.

Note on CD: This double CD cannot be used scientifically or in an educational purpose unless it is matched with its 50-page booklet that is offered free of charge.

Total playing time: CD1: 61'30" / CD2: 68'35"
