Though not credited, the first line of the refrain of "Vi har det" is taken from the danish adaption of the song "Volare (Nel blu dipinto di blu). The songs centers around a disc jockey who plays this tune on his turntable.

The spoken intro is actually an old local dustman rhyme. It is spoken by Kim Schumacher - a popular radio host at the time - and the words and their origin were verified by his mother Grethe Dam in the summer of 2001.
