"This is the first of a series of live recordings of 'The Scofflaws'. Our objective is to capture the energy of our live performances with no over dubs. This live performance took place on December 28, 1996 at New York Avenue, a medium sized club in Huntington, Long Island, New York. We chose to record in Huntington, the hometown of the Scofflaws and at the New York Avenue venue which has figured prominently in the long history of the band.

The music on this CD is selected from three live performances on the same day and was recorded onto a 24-track digital remote recording truck."
