ISKANDR – HEILIG LANDObscure heathen black metal from the catacombs of Nijmegen.
The latest installment in an increasingly productive output of the underground collective Haeresis Noviomagi. This four track full-length album showcases a variety of ideas, development and pace that sounds both unique and rooted in a tradition of heathen obscurity. The album rests firmly on the intersection of dark medieval atmospheres, melancholic longing and regal triumph.
Recorded in sessions between MMXII and MMXV
