The Ticket Inspectors were formed by Steve Treatment in 1988.
They originally released their material on cassette.
In 2004 much of the material was released for the first time on CD by Hyped2Death.

It's unclear what the dates on the front of the case refer to ('1980 - 1990') as according to the insert the band were formed in 1988 and the dates of recordings are, as in the title, 1989 - 1994.
