WKLS (96 Rock) is an Atlanta GA rock station. In the 80s they produced records of tracks of local unsigned bands in combinations called "Home Cookin'" volumes I, II, III, and IV. Local bands submitted tracks to the station and a panel of judges (from various record companies) would select tracks to produce on the albums. Proceeds from album sales went to local charities. The project was sponsored by WKLS Atlanta (96 Rock), Mello Yello, and Turtle's Records/Tapes/Movies.
