This is the 1971 first Japanese pressing in textured gatefold cover with 2 page bio-photo-lyrics sheet in English & Japanese and custom red Obi with ¥2,000 price.

Timing as printed on labels matches that printed on USA/Canada copies, which differs somewhat dramatically from that printed on UK pressings. (Can anyone explain the anomaly?)

There is also a 1974 Japanese gatefold reissue with same catalog number with red obi & insert but with ¥2,300 price: In The Court Of The Crimson King (An Observation By King Crimson).
